How long does it take to get down to Afandou town in the car? - Afandou town is a 5 - 7 minute drive.

How long does ot take to get down to Kolymbia - Kolymbia is a 15 minute walk

How far is the nearest supermarket. -  The Proton supermarket is just off the main road, approximately 3km from the villa.  However there are shops in nearby Kolymbia.

How deep is the pool? – The pool is 88cm graduating to 1.45m deep.

Can you recommend a car hire company that we could book online from here. - We recommend Auto Tour and Pay Less Car rental. Both offer a superb service, but we have a discounted rate available for our guests, so please ask for details.

How do we make payments? – Payments have become simpler. Credit Card pyments can be made through RentalSystems, PayPal payments to Payments@afandouhills.com or we offer 10% reduction on all payments made via bank transfers.

What is there to do for kids? – Kolymbia & Afandou beaches offer water sports & Kolymbia also offers Go-Karts.  Nearby Tsambika beach is great for kids as the water is very shallow, with superb sandy beaches.  It also offers water sports and horse riding.  In the villa we have provided a PlayStation console with a selection of games, an bat and ball for use on the beach a water basketball game for use in the pool.  Faliraki is only a short drive and hosts a water park.

Location: The villa has a great benefit of being in a central position to access Lindos to the south and Rhodes town to the north. Its an ideal location really as although the hilltop is quiet, Kolymbia (a popular beach resort but please note it will be very quiet in January) and Afandou (a large Greek village open year round) are nearby offering shopping, restaurants and bars. 

What are the nearest Beaches: Kolymbia and Afandou beaches are ~15/20 minutes walk (0.8km) which tend to be a mix of stone and sand.  However Tsampika beach is regarded as one of the finest on the island with its deep sand and shallow water which is ideal for children and only a short  ~5-7 minutes drive (2km)

Is there Public Transport: Rhodes has a good bus service running on the island.  From nearby Kolymbia beach the buses run several times a day up to and back from Rhodes town, however there are even more bus services running from Afandou.    Additionally in the Villa we have provided an information pack, including the local taxi numbers.  Taxi's are readily available all over the island. Example fair Rhodes to Lindos 50km (31miles) would be around 38 Euros.
