It isn’t easy to offer Luxury and be kind to the environment, but we hope to do a little more every year.

To date the hot water is provided via solar panels which is the norm for many Mediterranean homes. If the hot water needs a little extra boost, we have an electric immersion, but these can use a lot of electricity. To reduce the possibility of wasting electric as much as possible, the immersion is controlled via timer delay switch, so is only on for as long as you need to provide a top up.

The majority of the lighting is low energy, again something not easily achieved with contemporary lighting design.

Air conditioning is a must for the hot summer days, but is something easily forgotten and left running even when its not needed. To retain the comfort the Air Conditioning offers but to reduce waste, motion detectors have been fitted which switch the units off if they don’t detect movement after an hour. Don’t worry about the hot nights though as these units have an automatic night setting override.
